As an educator, Kai specializes in Stage Combat, Shakespeare, and Educational Equity. He has also worked as a facilitator in workshops centering on consent, bystander intervention, leadership strategies, emotional intelligence, communication, and bias, inclusion and equity.
From building and leading trainings on classroom dynamics and inclusive teaching methodologies for Harvard professors with the Applied Theater Initiative at Harvard’s Derek Bok Center for Teaching and Learning, to running Shakespeare and Creative Writing residencies in youth correctional facilities, he has built a broad range of experiences with learners of all ages. Whether in a classroom of nervous Brown University undergrads beginning their journey in a first acting course, or a gymnasium of rowdy high schoolers learning how to safely break an arm onstage, Kai’s passion for growth and mentorship is never more alive than with students.
